Built during the height of the Japanese occupation in 1941-1942 by one of Thailand’s most respected engineers and architects and surrounded by lush tropical gardens, Ariyasom Villa is an oasis in a city that never sleeps. Original teak floors, vaulted ceilings and beautifully appointed rooms guarantee a unique stay.



Converted into a 24-room luxury boutique hotel, spa and restaurant six years ago, it has stayed in the family. The original owners’ granddaughter Pariya and her husband David have created a sanctuary where you can choose to sit in peace by the pool surrounded by tropical greenery or dine at Na Aroon, which is one of our favorite Thai restaurants in the city. 

Dishes like the delicately spiced Pomelo salad and the Penang fish curry with wild black rice will keep us coming back. David even makes his own bread and butter pudding with vanilla ice cream. Sorry mum, this is the best I've ever had!

Now let's talk about the service. At Tailor On Ten, we pride ourselves on delivering a warm, world-class experience. It seems these guys share the same philosophy. David is always around and provides great insight into the local scene, having lived here for 22 years.
