Tailor On Ten is the only western owned and operated tailor in Bangkok. It was founded in 2010 by Alex, an experienced Canadian entrepreneur, and Nike, a German management consultant.

Tailor On Ten was founded in 2010 by Alex, an experienced Canadian entrepreneur, and Nike, a German management consultant. Together they realized a gap in the market for high end, yet affordable, bespoke tailored garments using legitimate world-class fabrics. This led to the creation of a business in the most competitive tailoring market in the world... Bangkok. As you may be aware Tailor On Ten is located on Soi 8 and invariably one of the first questions asked by new clients or journalists is, “why are you called Tailor On Ten?”. The original Tailor On Ten was located on Sukhumvit Soi 10, hence the name, and was run out of a store with enough room for a few clients and a good selection of fabrics. As word spread of the craftsmanship and service, popularity grew swiftly.

Inevitably, Tailor On Ten outgrew its home and needed a new premises. A beautiful old Thai style house that was only one road over on Sukhumvit soi 8 was chosen, renovated and the doors were opened. The house perfectly fit the vision for Tailor On Ten. It had character and charm, something that the competition lacked with room for clients to peruse an extensive range of fabric selections comfortably. The extra space, large private fitting rooms and in-house tailors meant that Tailor On Ten now formed the perfect merger of Western business with Thai aesthetic, style and tranquility.
