Where did you get married?
We got married in Tankardstown House, Slane, Ireland on June 9th. We had 108 guests, Amazing of course!
Your wife looked beautiful on the big day, we hear that she is a personal trainer that probably explains it!
Yes, she did! She is a personal trainer. She offers training, nutritional advice and has a fantastic Instagram account, irmafitness_ check it out!
You also looked incredible in your suit on your wedding day! How was it received?
Thank you! Everyone commented on the suit. How it fitted and of course the fabric. It looked very special in real life. Loved it!
Tell us a little bit about where you are from originally.
I am from a small town 50 miles north of Dublin called Dundalk. It is on the foot of the beautiful Cooley and Mourne mountains. I live 6 miles from the border with Northern Ireland but Dundalk is located in the South. 40,000 population. Great community town.
What do you do for a living and do you have to wear a suit every day?
I don’t have to wear a suit, sorry :( I have 2 companies. My main business is a clothing brand called Dr. James. We manufacture a boutique range of lab coats. You can see my products at dr-james.com
My second company is a graphic design and brand management business. 90% of my work is print media design such as logo, product brand development, product packaging and so on. 10% is web.
Are you still living in Bangkok? What’s your favourite thing about this wonderful city?
We now live in Chiang Mai. My favourite thing to do here is playing badminton outside with Thai friends at the foot of Doi Suthep mountain. When in Bangkok, my favourite thing to do was working in the amazing co-working spaces they have around the city, eating in the nice restaurants and staying in fancy hotels LOL.
What can you say about your Tailor On Ten bespoke experience?
Well, you were the one that first brought us through everything. I was blown away by the level of detail the customer gets to decide when creating their suit. Service is quick, fitting are precise and of course, the quality of the tailormanship is excellent. But my favourite is the choice of favourites you offer from an economical value for money to hi-end Italian weaves.
Was this your first bespoke suit or have you had others made before?
First one! I have sent a good number of people your way since. If I was getting married again, I would come back for a new wedding suit…..kidding of course!
If you could describe marriage in one word, what would it be?
Final! Again, I’m kidding!! The word I would use is “assured”.
Finally, were you the best-dressed guy at your wedding? We hope so!
Of course! LOL, not the slimmest but the best dressed for sure!
