Robbie and his beautiful bride Kwang got married recently on a picturesque beach in Koh Samui. Sporting a gorgeous Drago Italian Wool/Linen suit and Thomas Mason Egyptian Cotton shirt, we sat down with Robbie to hear more about this beautiful beach wedding, his linen suit, and life on a tropical island.

Tell us a little bit about where you're from originally?
I am born and raised in The Netherlands. I visited Thailand a lot for business but made the step to really move over in 2008. The most difficult but best decision I have ever made (except for marrying my wife and buying my suit at Tailor On Ten of course). 

You run/own Super Pro. Tell us a bit about what Super Pro is and what people who visit can expect?
Superpro Samui is one of the biggest Muay Thai, MMA, and fitness resorts in Thailand. We have 50 rooms and we cater to active holidays for all levels and ages. We have professional fighters here but also people who never touched gloves before. Our trainers are experienced trainers who know that not everybody has the same goal. Our classes are designed with that in mind. It also doesn't hurt to be located on the beautiful island of Koh Samui, for the perfect combination of sports & a tropical holiday.

Whats the best thing about living on a tropical island?
Living on an island like Koh Samui has many benefits. No traffic issues, fantastic weather, great food, and some amazing people. But I think the biggest advantage this island has is the feeling of freedom it gives you. Driving on the bike with your flip flops is an indescribable feeling. 

What can you say about your Tailor On Ten bespoke experience and how did this come about?
Tailor On Ten was recommended to me by a good friend of mine. It exceeded all of my expectations. I am used to walking in flip flops, so it was very helpful to have somebody who could help advise me so that I made the perfect choice. I went to Tailor On Ten without having an exact idea of what I wanted but they were able to get that out of me in no time. I was positively surprised about the amount of time they spend on detailing. Not only is the quality of the service excellent, but material is also top notch. Most of the fabrics are imported and the quality stays high even after washing.

Where did you and your beautiful bride meet? What's the story?
We had mutual friends. My wife was living and working in the USA and was in Bangkok for a holiday. We met in Bangkok and stayed in touch from then on. A few years later I was in Tailor On Ten buying my wedding suit. :)

You both ended up looking great, but who spend the most time selecting wedding outfits, you or the bride?
My wife is very creative. She knew before exactly what she wants, which is something I don't have. I need to see something before I know if I will like it or not. Normally, it would take more me more time but luckily we made the right choice by going for Tailor On Ten and my choice was made relatively quick.
